Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon whiskey
- 2-3 dashes Angostura bitters
- ½ oz brown sugar simple syrup
- ¾ tablespoon pumpkin purée
- ½ egg white
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Instructions
- Add egg white to shaker with ice and shake well for 10 seconds until foamy.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the cocktail shaker and shake for another 10 seconds.
- Strain into a whiskey glass with an ice ball or cube.
- Garnish.

Bourbon Tips
- Look for one that’s been aged at least 4 years.
- Single barrel- this means that the bottle comes from a “single barrel.” Because of that, the flavor will vary from bottle to bottle, but it’s usually more robust.
- Wheated bourbon- the bourbon will have a softer, more rounded out flavor as opposed to rye bourbon which is spicier.
- Small batch- by buying small batch bourbon, you’re purchasing a more premium bottle because of the extra care and work that goes into crafting it. This is a great choice for any bourbon based cocktail.
