These Boozy Watermelon Mojito Skewers are the essence of summer! Soaked in rum, mint and lime juice, what more could you ask for? Serve these boozy watermelon skewers at your next Summer bash and your friends may need to stay the night! ;)
Chop half of your watermelon into bite sized cubes or balls (using a melon baller).
Juice the other half of your watermelon. You can do this two ways, puree it in a food processor OR just smash it up with your hands. The juice is what you want!
Add watermelon juice, rum, sugar, mint, lime juice and zest to bag or bowl. Let soak in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Serve on skewers or straight out of the bag! ;)
Notes
You can cube or ball your watermelon. If you ball it, use a sharp melon baller.Tip*Freeze any excess watermelon scraps to add to smoothies or watermelon daquiris!
