This creepy brain dip is a fun and delicious Halloween appetizer to serve at your next Halloween party that is both spooky and easy! It is made using a brain mold and just 3 ingredients!
In a mixer, blend together the cream cheese and Boursin cheese. Feel free to add in any other spices or herbs.
Scoop into your brain mold and place a piece of plastic wrap directly over the cheese dip. It's okay if the brain mold is not full. It will still turn out nice.
Place mold in the fridge overnight to allow it to firm up.
Remove it the morning of your party and take off the plastic wrap before placing upside down onto serving platter. Wait at least 10 minutes before trying to remove it. If you have a silicone mold, you should be able to peel it off easily.
The mold will need to thaw at room temperature for a few hours.
Add about 6 oz of red pepper jelly to a small bowl along with a 2-3 tablespoons of water. This will thin it out a bit so you can pour it over your brain. Do not add too much water. You want it JUST thin enough to drip over the cheese.
Stick a knife in the center of the brain before serving. Serve with crackers and enjoy!

You can use any size mold for your dip. The larger it is, the longer you will want to chill it. Make sure you give it enough time to thaw out since it will take at least 4 hours to fully thaw.Consider adding a bit of prepared horseradish to your red pepper jelly for a kick that I love.*Note: This recipe was updated in 2024 to make it easier and more versatile.
