These Pink Chocolate Covered Strawberries are almost too pretty to eat! They are the perfect treat to make for Valentine's Day, a girl's baby shower or even a bridal shower! You can use any sprinkles or non-perils to easily match the theme of your party.
Melt your chocolate for 30 seconds in a small microwave safe bowl or mug. Take out and stir as much as possibly. Pop back in for another 20 seconds. Stir again. Repeat in 20 second intervals until fully melted. (This should take no more than 3-4 times).
Hold onto the leaves and dip each strawberry as much as you wish into the chocolate. I like to dunk them ¾ of the way deep. Gently shake up and down to allow the excess chocolate to drip off. Wait about 10 seconds.
Place strawberries onto a nonstick mat or parchment paper and do not touch. Sprinkle with whatever you desire while still wet. If you wish to drizzle with chocolate, wait for the first coating to cool completely before drizzling.
After the chocolate fully hardens (about 15 minutes), place in a sealed container or in the fridge for up to two days.
Notes
Use candy melts for super smooth chocolate that's easy to dip!
Feel free to use different toppings or colored chocolate. Chocolate covered strawberries are so versatile!
Store chocolate in the fridge for 2-3 days.
I do not recommend freezing your coated strawberries.
