Roasted shrimp cocktail with garlic is a game-changer! Juicy shrimp are tossed in olive oil, garlic, and lemon, roasted until golden, and paired with a zippy homemade cocktail sauce that’s impossible to resist.
Prepare the shrimp by peeling and deveining them. I highly recommend leaving the tails on for easy handling and a nice presentation.
Arrange the cleaned shrimp on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and add garlic, red pepper flakes, parsley, salt and pepper. Spread them out in a single layer and roast for 7–9 minutes, until they turn pink, firm, and perfectly cooked.
Let the shrimp cool while you whip up the sauce by mixing ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce or chili crisp. Chill until ready to use.
Serve the shrimp alongside the cocktail sauce and enjoy!
Notes
*The best shrimp cocktails use the largest shrimp possible. Look for U-10 (colossal) or 11/15 (jumbo) in the store.*Good cocktail sauce has a bit of a kick to it. You can omit this entirely if you don't like any heat or use whatever chili based sauce you prefer like Tabasco or Chili Crisp for a unique twist.
