This Avocado Margarita w/ Jalapeno & Cilantro is definitely something every margarita lover NEEDS to try! It's slightly spicy, slightly sweet, tart, bright, and suprisingly delicious!
Add all ingredients along with about ¼ cup of ice to a blender and puree for 10 seconds.
Option 1: Pour directly into a glass filled with ice and garnish with jalapeno slices and cilantro sprig.Note* It's not necessary to strain the mixture but you can if you want a smoother result.
Option 2: Blend all ingredients without the ice. Then add the blended mixture to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and pour into ice filled glass.
*Remember, the idea of adding ice to a cocktail shaker or blender is to slightly dilute the margarita as it may be too strong otherwise.

Margarita Rim Suggestions:There are numerous ways to rim your margarita besides salt!
Sugar- If you want a little sweet addition. Look for course rock sugar.
Tajin- This is a unique spice blend that is used quite often.
Chili Pepper- You can add this by itself or mix it with salt.
Smoked Sea Salt- A smokey addition that goes a long way.
Lime Zest- I suggest grating lime zest and adding it to salt or sugar.
Minced Cilantro- Mince it finely and mix it into your salt or sugar.
