To a microwave safe bowl, add 24 ounces of chocolate and ¼ cup of oil.
Microwave chocolate in 30 seconds increments stirring well in between. (The first time will be hard to stir.)
You shouldn't need to do this more than 3-5 times depending on your microwave.
Don't overheat the chocolate or it will scortch. You cannot fix this so be patient.
Once all your chocolate is smooth and silky, pour it into the bottom of your chocoate fountain and turn it on. Serve with dippers and enjoy!
Notes
Chocolate Notes*Not all chocolate is great for melting due to differences in cocoa butter, sugar content, additives, and flavor variations.High-quality chocolate with enough cocoa butter melts smoothly, while cheaper options may clump, crystallize, or have unwanted additives that affect texture and taste.Additionally, some chocolates require tempering for specific applications, making not all chocolate suitable for every melting need.I suggest using chocolate melting wafers NOT bagged chocolate chips to ensure your chocolate turns out silky smoooth.
