These Coconut Shrimp Dipping Sauces are all so delicious. Sweet, savory, tangy and creamy, I am sure you will find one OR all three sauces to be the perfect pairing with your shrimp!
Have you ever had coconut shrimp before? Plump, juicy shrimp are coated in a delicious breading flavored with real coconut, then fried until golden and crisp.
They're an absolutely DELICIOUS party appetizer on their own, but paired with one of these sauces? Man oh man- you won't be able to stop eating them!
Every single sauce is super easy, can be made in less than 5 minutes, and doesn't need more than 5 ingredients. If you fry up a batch of coconut shrimp today and serve with your sauce of choice, you might not be able to get your guests to leave.
Coconut Shrimp Sauces For Dipping
🥥Coconut Lime Sauce
- Coconut milk: For this recipe I really suggest using full-fat coconut milk. It tastes great and has much better texture. You can use lite coconut milk though if you prefer.
- Lime juice: Fresh lime juice is best because bottled is more concentrated, therefore it's more sour.
- Cilantro: I LOVE adding fresh cilantro to this coconut lime sauce because it add such a nice, bright flavor!
- Garlic powder: The garlic powder helps enhance all of the flavors of the sauce, so don't skip it!
- Salt: Salt helps drive home the savoriness of the sauce. Adjust to your taste.

How To Make Coconut Lime Sauce
- Add all ingredients to a high speed blender or food processor
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, then pour into a serving bowl and enjoy.
🍯Honey Soy Sauce
- Soy sauce: I always prefer to use low-sodium soy sauce. That way it's not too salty!
- Honey: The honey adds a nice sweetness and balances out the saltiness of the soy sauce. You can also use dark brown sugar if you're in a pinch, but I really prefer the taste of honey.
- Rice wine vinegar: Vinegar is a great ingredient to add to sauces because the acidity cuts some of the sweetness and adds a nice brightness
- Garlic: For the best flavor, use fresh garlic
- Ginger: Just like the garlic, fresh is best!
- Parsley: Fresh parsley is best because not only does it add a beautiful green color, but it also has more flavor than dried!

🌶️Sweet Chili Sauce
- Sweet chili sauce: I like to but premade sweet chili sauce from the store and doctor it up. Such a simple hack to make store-bought taste homemade!
- Orange/ apricot preserves: You can use either orange or apricot preserves in this sauce, they're both delicious and I personally don't have a preference.
- Chives: Fresh chives add a nice crunch and brightness to this sweet and spicy sauce.

Sauce Storage Instructions
You can store all 3 coconut shrimp sauces in an airtight container in the fridge. The honey soy sauce and sweet chili sauce will stay good for up to 2 weeks, while the coconut lime sauce will stay good for up to 5 days.
I do not recommend freezing the sauces, they do not have a good texture once thawed.
